Teacher of Citizenship for Primary

With over 29 years of experience teaching in the UK, Italy and Switzerland, Janette gained her qualifications from the University of Liverpool with a  B.ED Hons in Education and a Masters degree in Developmental Psychology and Pedagogy.  She is particularly interested in coaching and developing pastoral skills within Early Childhood and the Primary Years.  As a lifelong learner, Janette is keen to develop her skills as an Educator. To this end she is completing a course in ‘Equine Facilitated Coaching’ which focuses on Transformational Coaching using horses. Some of these skills will be used to nurture children’s social and emotional development. Janette enjoys singing and has performed solo at various events both in Switzerland and the UK. She is passionate about animals, particularly horses. During her leisure time she enjoys horse riding, biking, walking in the countryside and traveling.
